There's an odd sort of beauty and fantasy in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, but it's the kind of thing you either get or completely miss. I would have given it four stars. Other than that, great post.

Okay, sarcasm taken. I know I didn't actually give an argument. But that poem is actually hilarious....😂

I agree with John. It's maybe also the thing you have to have read as a child to have a fondness for.

Someone purchased Wind And Truth for me as well, and I am currently in the middle of it. I expect a scathing review from you once you read it... it's that bad, fair warning. There is a disgusting gay subplot and Kaladin has been reduced to a therapist.

I am currently planning to finish it as I am halfway through, but am debating whether to try to resell it and get some money and buy a better book or take the hardcover copy and burn it.

When I saw your Goodreads review, and you said it's gay, I was like, "Oh no..."

Yeah. I’ve got about like… 300 pages left? The gay parts start about a fifth of the way through. But I’m going to finish it because I’ve read over 4000 pages of it and I’m not gonna quit now… then I’ll get rid of the book. Still deciding whether to try to sell it or burn it.
